As part of the energy efficiency and energy security strategy, HD-group continues to construct solar power plants on the roofs of its enterprises. Such projects covering a total area of nearly 2,500 square meters and with a capacity of 400 kW have already been implemented at two group enterprises in Chernivtsi (LLC"Chernivtsi Bread Factory") and Zaporizhia ("Zaporizhia Bread Factory No. 3").
"A grid-connected solar power station is designed and integrated into the internal power supply system of the enterprise in such a way that when power is needed, consumption is sourced from its own generating installation, and when it is insufficient, from the general power grid, compensating for consumption. The lifespan of such a station is 25 years," shares Dmitry Duduzov, the head of the technical development department at HD-group.
According to him, the actual share of self-produced electricity for the enterprises where solar power plants operate is approximately 14% on average per year.
"Since the operation of the solar power plants began, the company has saved more than 2.6 million UAH in energy costs, which is 28.5% of the investment in its construction. Currently, the total investment in the construction of solar power plants amounts to approximately 10.4 million UAH.
HD-group plans to actively implement similar projects at its other enterprises as well. Solar power plants are scheduled to be put into operation at 5 more plants in Zaporizhia and the Kyiv region in the near future. Our goal is to provide a 15% compensation for energy consumption through self-produced electricity for all group enterprises," concludes the expert.
It should be noted that HD-group is a national group of companies that includes enterprises in grain processing, bread and pastry production plants, jam and preserve production plants, a logistics service company, and a procurement organization.
