HD-group always acts in the interests of society. Since the full-scale intervention, the social mission of HD-group is aimed at actively supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population. The group implements both its own projects and joint initiatives with volunteer and charitable organizations for our Victory. Currently, the priority areas of the group’s social policy are humanitarian and financial assistance to the military, support for those affected by Russian aggression, educational projects, and assistance to the elderly. Over 15 million hryvnias have been allocated for these projects since February 2022.
HD-group actively responds to requests to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Funds are directed towards purchasing vehicles for the military, body armor, radios, helmets, thermal imagers, quadcopters, medical kits, and the rehabilitation of soldiers. Moreover, ongoing support is delivered in the form of products from the group’s own manufacturing facilities.
The HD-group of companies has joined the development of a multifunctional rehabilitation center for military personnel and civilians called the Superhumans Center (located in Vynnyky, Lviv region). Charitable assistance in the amount of 1,850,000 hryvnias was provided to the facility. The center was opened in April 2023, with plans to provide comprehensive assistance to 3,000 war-affected individuals, both military and civilian, in the first two years of operation. The center is set to offer services including prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, psychological support, and rehabilitation.
Responding to the operational needs of the volunteer formation “Hortytsky Regiment” and the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region, HD-group acquired and provided military vehicles to support their missions, including Ford Explorer, two Mitsubishi L200 vehicles, Nissan X-TRAIL, NISSAN Navara, and Ford Ranger.
The maritime drones “the Offspring” and “F*cking Bridge and Navy” were made possible through fundraising efforts by members of the Family Business Network, under the initiative of UNITED 24. The families of HD-group shareholders Chekalsky and Shestopalov contributed to the fundraising, making a donation of 825,000 hryvnias.
HD-group procured and provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with five mobile optoelectronic counter-battery systems “SOVA”, offering a range of advantages in artillery reconnaissance operations. A sum of 350,000 hryvnias was allocated to this project. For this initiative, HD-group’s CEO and co-owner Boris Shestopalov was honored with the Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense medal “For Support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
In collaboration with the charitable foundation “Khartiya,” HD-group executed a joint project involving the purchase of FPV drones. The group allocated 100,000 hryvnias for this initiative.

During the crisis at the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Plant, HD-group, in collaboration with the charitable organization “Angels of Salvation,” promptly engaged in assisting the local population. Residents and individuals with disabilities who couldn’t reach water distribution points received aid in the form of 10,440 bottles of “Akvulia” water. An amount of 287,000 hryvnias was directed towards purchasing bottled water for the urgent needs of Kherson region.
An additional 180,000 hryvnias were allocated for the procurement of hoses and pumps.
Furthermore, the company directed 2,000 packages of its own products to aid families affected by the disaster in Kherson region.
As part of its social responsibility, HD-group is dedicated to advancing education in Ukraine and nurturing talented young individuals. This commitment involves establishing environments that empower them to unlock their full potential and receive high-quality education.
We support the revival of Ukraine’s first institution of higher education, which, though now a smaller university in terms of enrollment, faces non-competitive conditions compared to larger institutions in the capital and regional centers. It requires additional funding to enable gifted students to receive quality education, particularly in the field of “National Security.”
HD-group allocated 600,000 hryvnias for grants to students, faculty, and the development of the National University “Ostroh Academy.”
The project of publishing books in Ukrainian language was initiated by Boris Shestopalov, co-founder and CEO of HD-group. As part of this initiative, two books have already been published: “Drive” by Daniel Pink and “The Silk Roads” by Peter Frankopan. This project aims to promote the development of Ukrainian literature and ensure the availability of the best examples of world business and artistic literature in Ukraine. Currently, 473,000 hryvnias has been invested in the project.
