THE COMPANY SUCCESSFULLY UNDERWENT THE TRANSFORMATION
The Group historically focused on the products’ volume expansion and aimed to become the “Number One Producer” in Zaporizhia region by market share. However, despite the growing revenue and the leading regional position, the Group demonstrated the dropping EBITDA, mainly due to the external factors: inflation, devaluation of Hryvnia and rise in the grain prices, which together increased the costs for population, as well as dropping of the disposal income of Ukrainians, which, n turn, included us to cut down the bread prices. In 2917 the shareholders launches the Transformation project to make the Group more flexible and adaptive to the external challenges. Another aim was to change the strategic and management approaches to improve the effectiveness.

4.0 Industry in bread making technology
Whichever is our attitude towards the merger of technologies, total robotization and the displacement of the human factor from the production process, the fourth industrial revolution is inevitable. Its manifestation surround us right now – 3D-printing, “smart house’, complemented reality even in children’s toys. The industry erodes the boundaries between the physical, digital and biological spheres, forming the “smart production lines”, “smart shops” and, respectively, the “smart factories”.
We are looking for the ideas on how to integrated the laters industrial technologies into the world’s oldest industry – bread making.
Possible directions of the product development:
- Internet of things
- Internet of services
- big data
- virtual and complemented reality
- stand-alone robots
- 3D technology
- smart plants

Foodtech
The development of the foodtech is just getting started in Ukraine. Its actively assimilated with HoReCa and retails sectors, which technologize the process of the food delivery to the consumer: the online restaurant and the bot waiter, the mobile kitchen and the supermarket at the mobile phone… But the foodtech is non limited just to orders or delivery, it also enters into the food industry enterprises.
This challenge is for the teams, capable of brining the latest technologies into the bread-making industry. The raw materials, production, contiguous and accompanying processes, storage – we are looking for any ideas.
Possible directions of the product development:
- new products
- new production methods
- new storage techniques
- logistics
- solutions concerning the equipment and outfitting of the facilities (franchising)
- superfood
